Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh set a U20 world record for indoor high jump. This is reported by the Athletics Federation of Ukraine. She set a record with a result of 2.01 meters. This result ensured the athlete winning the Demianiuk Memorial competition in Lviv.
“It was very cool. 2.01 is my personal best on the premises. Next start will be in Cottbus (January 29). We will compete and show high results,” said Maguchikh. As a result, in 2019, 18-year-old Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the Rising Star nomination among the world's athletes.
