In the nine months of 2019, the capital was visited by 1.5 million foreign tourists, as well as 2.2 million Ukrainians, who brought the city 61 million UAH of tourist tax. This is reported by Kyiv City State Administration.
Since the beginning of the year, a number of large-scale tourist-attractive events have been held in the capital of Ukraine. They include Moto Open Fest, Kyiv Food & Wine Festival, Courage Bazaar, Atlas Weekend, Kyiv Art week, etc. The city also took part in five international exhibition events in Ukraine and abroad in order to popularize the tourist opportunities of Kyiv.
