Today in Kyiv on the Obolonsky embankment, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine has held a unique annual sporting event “Olympic Day”, according to Ukrinform.
On this year's jubilee date - the 125th anniversary of the International Olympic Committee - the program of "Olympic Day" was filled with a racing program, which was designed for children, amateurs and professionals.
Famous Ukrainian Olympians such as Serhiy Bubka, Natalia Dobrinskaya, Olga Saladukha, Olena Podgrusna, Julia Jim, Denis Berinchik, Alexander Abramenko, Georgy Zantaray and others visited the "Olympic Day".
Everyone had an opportunity to run together with famous athletes along the paths of the picturesque park "Natalka". The program included 3 km, 1.6 km (Olympic mile) and 500 m children's runs. All the participants received medals and gifts.
