So, the participants of the event decided to draw attention to the need to strengthen the control over the speed of traffic on roads, in order to prevent road accidents with injured cyclists.

The Cycle Day started with a traditional group photo at Sofia Square. After that, the cyclists traveled along the planned route, passing the central streets of the city and finishing on the Trukhaniv island in the park "Muromets".

The event’s program continued with a bicycle festival in the park "Muromets".  It included lectures on the first premedical care, riding for children from 2 to 12 years old, adult racing, bike quests, competitions, gifts and concerts. There was a children's zone of creativity, retro cards, lectures, photo zones, and food court in the park "Muromets".

A cycle day is held all over Ukraine. Thousands of cyclists, regardless of age and style of riding, travel through the central streets of cities and towns of Ukraine in order to attract attention to a healthy and active lifestyle and cooperation with drivers on the roads.
