Thinking of the best things to do in Kyiv? The National Museum of Arts named after Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko, which is 100 years old, invites everyone who loves art. On the occasion of the Anniversary, the Museum of Khanenko opened the iconic exhibition "Museum. Century", the first historical documentary project of the Museum, which reveals the fate of the institution and its collection since 1919, according to BigKiev.
Among the highlights of the exhibition you can see the originals of archival documents, in particular a copy of Bohdan Khannenko's will of April 10, 1917, and selected memorials from the museum's funds that will be exhibited for the first time or after a few dozen years.
The official date of foundation of the Museum is June 23, 1919. For many years, Kyiv residents have the opportunity to visit unique exhibitions and collections in which the best representatives of eternal art are collected.
The exhibition will last until September 1. The entrance is free.
