Music Festival of Mattias Kendlinger

What to see and do in Lviv? If you love classic music, you have a great chance to enjoy the music of Mattias Kendlinger. On July 09-13, 2019, the II International Music Festival of Mattias Kendlinger will be held in Lviv, according to Vgorode.ua.

Works by the Austrian composer Matthias Georg Kendlinger will sound. Among the performers there are Ukrainian-Austrian Symphony Orchestra K & K Philharmoniker, Ukrainian National Choir Lviv, pianist Philipp Scheucher (Austria), violinist Robert Stepanyan (France), such conductors as Taras Lenko (Ukraine), Maximilian Kendlinger (Austria), Matthias Kendlinger (Austria) and others.

 

Matthias Georg Kendlinger was born in 1964 in Tyrol (Austria). Founder of the Austrian-Ukrainian Symphony Orchestras K & K Philharmoniker, K & K Symphoniker and Ukrainian National Choir (Lviv). Over the past 15 years, they have performed in the best halls of 18 European countries such as Herkulessaal Munchner Residenz, Tonhalle Zurich, Kanzerthaus Berlin, Wiener Musikverein, Stockholm Concert halls, Copenhagen, Madrid, Oslo, Paris. During the season, there are about 130 concerts. The main composition of the orchestra consists of 70 people, as well as 60 more musicians are in the additional warehouse. Since the founding of the K & K, Philharmoniker has recorded 30 live CDs and 6 concert DVDs.
