In June 2018, one of the major rock bands of the day, The Cure celebrated its 40th anniversary with a two-hour concert in Hyde Park London in front of a 65,000-strong fan's army. According to KyivMusicFilm on Facebook, on July 11, the cinemas of Ukraine and the world will show the film "Anniversary 1978-2018", dedicated to one of the brightest live performances of The Cure.
The story tells the story of the band since its inception in the late 1970s, from Lovesong to Lullaby, from the hit Boys Do not Cry to Burn, from Fascination Street to the romantic Friday I'm in Love. In Ukraine's capital, the shows will be held at the cinemas "Butterfly DeLux", "Planet Cinema", "Multiplex". It will start at 19:00 or 20:00, depending on the cinema. The cost of tickets goes from 150 UAH.
The Cure is a cult British band, pioneers of alternative rock and post-punk. Despite their alternate orientation, they managed to achieve considerable commercial success. In 2019, The Cure was included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
