The World Minifootball Federation has decided to grant the right to host the 2021 World Cup in Kyiv, according to UNN. Two locations were in the race for hosting: Kyiv (Ukraine) and Dakar (Senegal).
"This decision is the result of recognition of our country's success in the development and promotion of minifootball. Due to efforts, Kyiv has won this right in the struggle with a serious competitor, Dakar. And, what is important, our current and future partners and sponsors have received a powerful and a clear signal that minifootball takes a worthy place in a big football family and has every opportunity for successful cooperation," said the President of the Federation of Minifootball of Ukraine Yevgeniy Dontsov.
It should be mentioned that the Ukrainian national team will take part in the WMF World Cup 2019 in Perth (Australia) in October.
