A new sculpture was installed on the Dnieper embankment in Kyiv. It is called "Unity". Its official opening is scheduled for early September. This is reported by Segodnya. Two silhouettes facing each other, symbolizing the feminine and masculine, look really great. At sunset, the sun will pass between two faces.
“The uniqueness of this place lies in our active involvement in all stages of creating space. For example, we were engaged in the choice of location and site design together with leading experts of the country. A similar idea and its creation is worth the best world practices,” the authors of the sculpture say.
The sculpture is made of polished rods and stainless steel pipes, which are interconnected by argon welding. The height of the work is 4.5 m, the width - 3.5 m. The authors of the composition are Yegor and Nikita Zigura. Now the workers are completing the improvement of the recreation area around the sculpture. The territory was paved with tiles, several flowerbeds were laid and benches were installed.
