On 6-8 September, Ukraine’s capital invites everyone to visit Koktebel Jazz Festival. For the first time in its 17-year history, the festival will be held in Kyiv, and it promises to experiment with new formats. The program includes Crimean rock, electronic music, film screenings, creative meetings, Lounge Yoga, children's program and, of course, jazz. This is reported by Vechirniy.Kyiv.
The festival will have four residencies, including "the Crimea Island", Koktebel beach Club, Koktebel Jazz and Jazz Kids. Each of the residences broadcasts a very important topic for Jazz Koktebel; all four themes are intertwined each other, and blend together into a general character and atmosphere.
"Crimea Island" is a residence, the partner of which is the Crimean House. It will host performances of Lithium, Claus Dolls, and guests of the Island AVA Group. Here, you'll also able to enjoy music by Dreamdrift, Usein Bekirov Quartet, Atomic Simao and others.
Koktebel beach Club is a residence of electronic music and live, the partner of which is the Kyiv club "Painters. Writers. Artists. Musicians". This residence will have a "Lounge Yoga", where you can participate in open yoga lessons from masters and enjoy amazing music from the best DJs.
Koktebel Jazz Jazz Residence will be located on the territory of the partner of the residence - the club "South Coast of Kyiv". Great jazz and special projects will wait for guests at the residence.
The program of the Jazz Kids Residence will include useful and interesting workshops, landscapes and drawing lessons for kids, and, of course, jazz.
