Kyiv video surveillance network

Researchers collected information on the number of cameras in the most populous cities from open sources. Mostly authors focus on video surveillance, which is used by government agencies, in particular law enforcement agencies. According to the Director of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the Kyiv City State Administration, Yurii Nazarov, video surveillance in Kyiv solves a number of problems. Video cameras with the ability to recognize faces and license plates help to solve crimes and find people.
