Frontier. VR Art Festival

On September 20-22, the M17 Contemporary Art Center in Kyiv will host FRONTIER, a festival about art and virtual reality. The event's program includes expositions in material, virtual and augmented realities, showcases using technologies in culture, meetings with artists, performances and VR parties.

Also within the event in Kyiv you will be able to see 6 art objects integrated with AR. Locations are the following: opposite the Vernadsky Library, on Shevchenko Boulevard, on Lybidska Square, on the Pechersk near the monument to Pylyp Orlyk and on one of the wastelands of Troyeshchyna. 25 Ukrainian artists were invited to create these exhibitions in Kyiv, including: Oleksii Zolotaryov, Ilya Novgorodov, Artem Volokitin, Kostyantyn Zorkin, Vlas Byelov, Petro Gronsky, Vitaliy Kohan, Mykola Malyshko, Vartan Markaryan, Mykyta Kadan and others.

 

The festival continues the exhibition at the M17 Center for Contemporary Art, which runs until November 17. It features 25 virtual art experiences and 6 sculptures by Ukrainian artists. Exposures in the city are available at any time with a QR code placed at the locations and an application available for download at frontierfest.com.ua.
