The Ukrainian film Homeward directed by Nariman Aliev has become the winner of the Bosphorus Film Festival. The film is recognized as the best foreign film of the 7th International Bosphorus Film Festival. Axtem Seitablaiev received the Best Actor Award. This was reported on the film's Facebook page.
The awards ceremony took place in Istanbul. Nariman Aliev received the honors personally. The award for the best foreign film of the director was presented by the chairman of the International Jury, the Philippine director and the owner of the palm branch of Cannes, Briante Mendoza. In addition to "Homeward" another 8 films from different countries competed for the victory in the international competition.
