Shevchenko entered the top 10 ranking of football coaches

Coach of the Ukrainian national football team Andriy Shevchenko took the eighth place in the ranking of the best national team coaches, receiving 41 points. This is reported by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics. His result is better than Oleg Blokhin had in 2005 when he scored 28 points and took the tenth place.

The first place with 112 points in the ranking was taken by the coach of the Portuguese national team Fernando Santos. In 2016, he led the team to victory at Euro 2016. The second and third places went to the mentors of the Brazilian national team (Titus, victory at the America's Cup) and the team from Belgium (Roberto Martinez, bronze at the 2018 World Cup). The fourth place belongs to the coach of the French team Didier Demach, the fifth - to the coach of the Algerian team, Jamel Belmadi. Sixth and seventh place was taken by the coach of the English and Italian national team Gareth Southgate and Roberto Mancini.
