For the first time in the history of modern Ukrainian philately, a Ukrainian stamp received gold at the WIPA 2018 exhibition. WIPA Grand Prix is the most valuable award of all, since 1981 this award has been awarded annually to the most beautiful postage stamp in the world. Philatelic Olympic gold received the postmark "Insects". It was mentioned that in the WIPA competition, Ukrainian brands won third place twice (2003 and 2004 - “Merry Christmas!”, “Hetman’s Kleinoda and personal belongings of Bohdan Khmelnytsky”), twice - seventh place (2008 and 2009 - “Cossack Ukraine”, “Fate. T. Shevchenko”), twice - sixth place (2012 and 2013 -“Lighthouses of Ukraine”, “Generous Ukraine. Summer”).
