Google officially launched a development center (R&D center) in Ukraine. It is now the third out of eight Google offices in the CEE region with a R&D center. The other two are Google Poland and Google Hungary. This is reported by ain.ua.
In November 2019, Google bought CloudSimple with an office in Kyiv. And already in January 2020, the employees of the Kyiv office of CloudSimple became employees of the Kyiv office of Google. Until now, Ukrainian Google has been busy only with local advertisers.
