Ukrainian pianist received Grammy Music Award

On January 26, the 62nd 2020 Grammy Awards ceremony was held in Los Angeles. Ukrainian pianist Nadiya Shpachenko received the 2020 Grammy Music Award in the Classical Music nomination.

Ukrainian pianist Nadiya Shpachenko lives in the USA and works as a piano professor at Pomona State University of California. She was awarded Grammy  Music Awardin the nomination "Best Classical Collection" for her album "Poetry of Places". 


The popular 18-year-old singer Billy Ailish received four awards at once in the main categories. By the number of statuettes, the second was the singer Lizzo. The music award also marks the soundtrack from the HBO series Chernobyl.
