Kyiv tops Europe skyscraper ranking

Ukraine's capital takes the first place in the ranking of European cities by the number of skyscrapers according to the SkyscraperPage. The website informs that Kyiv has 1,199 high-rise buildings (minimum 12 floors or 35 meters / 115 feet in height).

The second place is taken by London with 1109 skyscrapers, and Moscow is put on the third place, with 550 high-rise buildings. The Ukrainian city Kharkiv takes the 4th place with 422 skyscrapers. Odessa was ranked 23rd with 160 high-rise buildings.  In the world ranking of cities the first place was taken by New York, with 6097 skyscrapers. The second is Toronto with 2393 buildings, and the third place is taken by Dubai, where 1574 skyscrapers were built. In the world ranking Ukraine's capital ranks 8th.
