On 3-21 September, an exhibition of Renata Genina's works “Patchwork is a spacious road to life” is held at the Center of Ukrainian Culture and Arts. More than 100 works, created in the technique of patchwork, as well as embroidered works of art are presented. The author is convinced that patchwork inspires her to move on and live interestingly, despite different circumstances.
Renata Genina learned the patchwork technique in 2008. She mastered this with speed and great efficiency. Subsequently, she began to participate in thematic art projects.
Patchwork, also known as pieced work, is the process of sewing together strips, squares, triangles, or other shaped pieces of fabric. The first works were found in Egyptian tombs and also in China about 5000 years ago.
